2004 E46 BMW M3 Convertible ECU DME Module w/ ignition switch, key, and EWS module. Removed from a 2004 M3 convertible with the SMG automatic transmission. Will not work for manual transmission models. Comes with the EWS module and ignition switch/key from the same car, matched set. These three components are matched to each other so that the cars immobilizer can work effectively and allow you to start the car. Replacing the ecu alone will not allow the car to start unless taken to the dealer so it can be reprogrammed to your existing immobilizer/key, which can get expensive. Includes the OEM BMW key, as shown in the photos.
