2000-2004 Porsche 986 Boxster S 3.2 Tiptronic Automatic Transmission. This will only fit 2000-2004 Boxster S models that have a tiptronic automatic transmission and the 3.2L engine. This will not fit manual transmission cars or the base 2.7l models. This transmission has the open differential. It does not have a limited slip differential. Please verify that this is the correct transmission for your car before purchasing. This transmission was removed from a running and driving 2001 Porsche Boxster S with 83k miles. This unit was fully tested prior to removal and is in good working condition. This transmission shifted well with no odd noises or grinding. No leaks were found upon removal. You will need to reuse some of your existing mounting brackets and hardware for installation. The fluid drained out clear with no abnormalities or metal shavings. Will ship drained of all fluid. The brackets and lines may be removed for shipping purposes but will be included in the package.

** The metal support on the bell housing vent was damaged during removal, as shown in the photos. This part of the bell housing does not appear to be structural component for mounting. We have included the broken piece so it can be welded back the assembly for installation and use. **

There will be two options for shipping, one without a liftgate equipped truck and one with a liftgate. If you have a business address with a loading dock, forklift or other means of unloading the pallet off of the delivery truck you will not need a liftgate equipped truck for delivery. If you have a residential address or are unsure about unloading the pallet from the truck please refer to the weight of the shipment above on this listing page, so you can make the decision on whether you will need a liftgate or not.
