1997-2004 C5 Corvette
For the 1997 model year, Chevrolet introduced the much anticipated C5 Corvette. Featuring GM's new LS1 engine, it was offered as a removable top coupe, or convertible. In 1999 the "FRC" Fixed Roof Coupe was introduced, which later served as the basis for the LS6 powered Z06 model.
