Functionality:

Fully tested prior to removal. This made no odd noises or gear grinding sounds while testing. The fluid drained clear with no metal shavings or abnormalities.

Physical Condition:

In good used physical condition with no cracks or damage in the assembly. Free of any major corrosion or rusting, however the housing does have some heavier surface rusting, which is typical of a vehicle this age. Internals are in good usable condition with no damage to the pinion or ring gear. You will need to reuse your existing housing and hardware for installation.

Fitment Notes:

Removed from a 2001 Mazda Miata Special Edition equipped with the LSD and 6 speed manual transmission. This has the 3.90 final drive ration. Will fit any 1999-2005 Mazda Miata. Will NOT fit the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed models. If you plan on using this as an upgrade for 1990-1993 1.6l models, you will need to source the correct rear housing, driveshaft, and axles for installation.
