2005-2011 SLK (R171)
The R171 (2nd) Generation of the Mercedes Benz SLK was available in the US from 2005-2011. It featured a power retractable convertible hard top (Vario Roof as Mercedes calls it), rear wheel drive and a variety of engine and transmission choices. Engine choices ranged from a 3.0L V6 in the SLK280 & SLK300, a 3.5L V6 in the SLK350, and a 5.4L V8 in the SLK55 AMG.
