2002 marked the return of the iconic Mini brand in the US, this time under the ownership of BMW. This new generation of Mini was available as the Cooper (R50) and supercharged Cooper S (R53) from 2002-2006, and as a Convertible (R52) from 2005-2008. John Cooper Works (JCW) packages were available if you wanted some more performance out of your Mini.
