2005-2012 911 (997)
The 997 generation of the Porsche 911 debuted in the US for the 2005 model year and stayed in production up until 2012. This generation saw a large amount of different sub models ranging all the way from the base Carrera to the very limited production GT2 RS and GT3 RS. 2005-2008 models are commonly referred to as the 997.1, while 2009-2012 are commonly referred to as the 997.2.
