2005-2012 Boxster / Cayman (987)
Similar to their previous iterations, the 2005-2012 987 generation Boxster shared many components with the 2005-2012 997 generation 911. In 2006 Porsche added a coupe version of the Boxster, called the Cayman, to the lineup. Earlier models (2005-2008) are usually referred to as the 987.1, with the 2009-2012 facelifted models often being referred to as the 987.2.
