2009-2016 Z4
The second generation (E89 chassis) BMW Z4 was launched in the U.S. in 2009 and stayed in production through the 2016 model year. Unlike its predecessor which was available in soft top convertible and coupe variants, this generation was only available as a retractable hardtop convertible. The standard model came equipped with the N52 3.0 I6 engine (sDrive30i), which was later replaced by the N20 2.0 turbo I4 engine (sDrive28i) in 2012. The top of the line engine was the N54 3.0 twin turbo I6, which was offered from 2009-2016 (sDrive35i and sDrive35is models).
