Functionality:

Fully tested prior to removal. This made no odd noises or gear grinding sounds while testing. The fluid drained clear with no metal shavings or abnormalities.

Physical Condition:

In good physical condition with no cracks or damage in the assembly. Free of any major corrosion or surface rusting. Internals are in good usable condition with no damage to the pinion or ring gear. This does NOT include the factory aluminum housing as shown. You will need to reuse your existing housing and hardware for installation.

Fits:

1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 Mazda Miata (w/o mazdaspeed)

1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 Mazda Miata 1.8l

1990, 1991, 1992, 1993 Mazda Miata 1.6l (Upgrade, requires additional components)

Fitment Notes:

Removed from a 2002 Miata with the 6 speed manual transmission and torsen limited slip differential. This has the 3.90 final drive ratio. Will fit any 1994-2005 Mazda Miata. Will NOT fit the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed models. This can be used as an upgrade of the 1990-1993 models, however you will need to source the correct differential housing, driveshaft, and axles to complete this upgrade.
