This transmission was removed from a vehicle that had audible grinding present when shifting into third gear and fourth gear. We are selling this transmission AS IS, for parts or refurbishing purposes ONLY. Fluids have been drained with no abnormalities. Housing has now damage with no cracks. Shifter is intact with no damage.

Fitment Notes:

*This transmission was removed from a 2024 Mx5 that came equipped with the version 5 transmission from the factory. This transmission is the updated version 5 model with reinforced internals. Version 5 transmissions were found on vehicles produced AFTER June 18, 2018. The transmission info sticker shows a build date from December 21, 2023.* Version 5 transmissions found on the 2019-2021 ND2 models were also equipped with an updated clutch release bearing sleeve to accommodate for the dual mass flywheel. This transmission can still be used on 2016-2018 ND1 models, however you will need to transfer your existing clutch release bearing sleeve (part number : PE01-16-220) for installation.
