Functionality:

This engine was removed from a running and driving car, so this motor was able to be fully driven and tested before removal. Engine idled smoothly at 800 rpm with no smoking or hesitations.

** During testing, we did find the engine to have some audible ticking present in the top end of the motor. This engine is being sold AS IS, for parts or refurbishing purposes ONLY with no warranty or returns. We highly recommend having this engine professionally inspected and repaired prior to use.** 

We were able to compression test the engine with good results (205-195-200-195-200-200). The engine had some oil residue leaking from the oil pan gasket during testing. We suggest changing this gasket, and any other easy to access seal while the engine is removed from the vehicle. Oil and coolant have been drained with no abnormalities. Ships drained of all fluids.

Physical Condition:

Engine assembly is in good physical condition with no cracks or damage. Exterior of the engine is free of any major surface rusting or corrosion. We typically suggest replacing the exhaust manifold studs while the engine is removed from the vehicle due to the heat cycling causing them to come loose from the cylinder head during removal.

Includes everything as pictured, nothing less, nothing more. Includes the engine long block, cooling fan, Crank pulley, power steering pump, engine cover, coil packs, oil pan, and motor mount brackets as shown. There will be some components and hardware you will need to reuse from your existing vehicle.

Removed from a vehicle with the SMG automatic transmission. This can be used with the manual transmission with some minor changes such as the flex plate, sensors, and wiring harness
